History
We’re proud of our history that dates back to 1917!
Started
by Charles W. Klasek, Sr. in 1917, the company was founded as a
lettershop. Continued by Charles W. Klasek, Jr. in 1947, and current
CEO, Charles G. Klasek in 1984, the Klaseks have always been dedicated
to providing superior direct mail services.Despite all the years and three generations of management, Klasek is still a lettershop at the core of its being.
Over the years the company expanded due to client growth and
acquisition. Printing was added to the lettershop services offering in
the 1940’s along with new and improved addressing systems.
Web
offset presses came along in the 1980’s to complement the
growing
laser printing services being requested by Klasek’s clients.
The most dramatic growth occurred in the 1990’s with the
acquisitions of The Cliff Kelley Company and Automated Information.
With the completion of these transactions, Klasek Letter greatly
increased its mailing capacity, web printing, and laser printing
production abilities. Recent years have seen an increase in processed
mail volume to over 300,000,000 pieces annually.
The Klaseks have always been operations oriented people and have taken
great pride in the company’s ability to perform consistently,
offering high quality, reliable services to its clients located
throughout the Midwest.
